Common causes of brain injury, typically, is trauma. Trauma can result from a slip and fall, motor vehicle accident, or any accident causing impact with a client’s head. The leading causes of traumatic brain injuries are:
- Falls (slip and trip)
- Unintentional blunt force trauma
- Motor Vehicle collisions
